GET THE MEASUREMENTS RIGHT

One of the most common mistakes homeowners make is hanging curtains too short or too narrow. For maximum luxury, hang your rod as close to the ceiling as possible, and allow the curtain to extend at least 15–20cm beyond each side of the window frame.
Length matters too  floor-length curtains almost always look more polished than those that stop mid-wall.
